D. Lamar Handy, owner and founder of D.L. Handy Foundation, Inc. and Eric Keese, owner of Live Gigantic Enterprises, LLC, have parterned to create The UPLIFT Seminar Series in an effort to present positive messages in the community. Our panelist are women and men from all walks of life who are coming together to help UPLIFT the community with an open discussion about mental health.
Your host for the event is Capatha Callaway.
Capatha Callaway is a native of Athens, Georgia. She's a graduate of Cedar Shoals High School. She earned her undergraduate degree from South Carolina State University with a BA in Professional English and minor in Broadcasting Journalism. She also earned a Masters degree in Education from Montreal College. Currently, Capatha is a 6th grade SS/ELA teacher in Charlotte, NC and an adjunct instructor at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina.
